Rewards & House Points
Class Dojos and House Points form our school reward system at Penketh and allow children to share a common goal. Dojos are awarded to a child for good behaviour & attitude to learning and following the school expectations. They can be traded in at the end of each term for small prizes such as special stationery and small toys.

Each child is allocated to Red, Blue or Yellow house when they join us in Reception. Siblings will always be put in the same coloured house. House points are awarded throughout the term for academic achievement, however small. These points are collated by the Year 6 House Captains and the winning house announced in assembly. Rewards may take the form of special treat days or allowing the children to wear their own clothes for a day.
The House Point Counter is shown above and is updated weekly.

AquaAid
Our school, by using AquAid water coolers, has helped save the lives of many children in Africa. With every water cooler obtained from AquAid, a donation has been made to the Africa Trust. These funds are used to directly build fresh drinking water wells in areas in Africa where it is needed the most, like in schools and villages.
