Update 11th June 2020

We have been informed that Warrington Borough Council and the Covid-19 Education Task Force met yesterday and have now confirmed that schools in Warrington can begin their wider opening of school from the 15th June. The joint statement sent to school is attached below, together with a letter to parents to explain our plans. A copy of our extensive Risk Assessment is available via the Covid Risk Assessments tab.

Update 7th June 2020 - Changes to re-opening date

Warrington Borough Council had an emergency meeting earlier this afternoon and have told all schools in Warrington to postpone their wider opening until the 15th June at the earliest. The Local Authority statement is shown below. We apologise for the lateness of this decision. The Local Authority will meet again later this week, to review this decision and decide whether we can open on Monday 15th June.

Update 20th May 2020 re plans for phased re-opening

Please see letters below from school and Warrington Borough Council, regarding plans we are putting in place to allow a safe phased re-opening to certain year groups. Some of the information is quite repetitive but please read it carefully and inform us of your decision in due course.

Update 10th May 2020

Following the announcement by the Prime Minister on 10th May, our school will remain open to key worker and vulnerable children only until further notice. We are going to expand our schools on site educational provision in a planned and measured way. This will be in a phased return. We are currently awaiting detailed guidance as promised by the Government and will act upon this to ensure the safety and security of all pupils, staff and visitors. We will keep parents and carers fully informed moving forwards.
